Privacy Notice

GetMeHired.AI (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

• Account details — your name and email, from your Google sign-in.
• Career data you give us — CVs, documents you upload, profile answers, applications, interview notes.
• Signals we derive — a structured picture of your goals, experience and communication style, used only to personalise coaching and writing.
• Basic usage/technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

If you choose to connect a Google account, you grant read-only access to specific data, and only for the features you switch on:

• Gmail (read-only) — to spot interview invitations, recruiter replies and rejections so we can keep your applications up to date and prepare you. We store structured signals (e.g. “interview at Company on date”), not the full content of your emails.
• Calendar (read-only) — to see interview and prep times and help you get ready around them.
• Drive (read-only) — only to import the CVs and documents you explicitly pick, so you can use them in the app.

GetMeHired.AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not let humans read it except where you ask for support or the law requires, and we do not use it to train generalised AI models.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from the app, which revokes our access. You can also revoke it from your Google Account permissions.

To run the service you asked for: match you to roles, tailor CVs and applications, prepare you for interviews, and — if you enable it — keep your pipeline current from your inbox and calendar. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

To generate coaching, CVs and application text, relevant parts of your profile and documents are sent to our AI provider (DeepSeek) for processing. This is used to produce your output, not to train public models.

We use a small set of providers to run the service, each only for its function:

• DeepSeek — AI text generation.
• Brevo — sending your emails (digests, interview prep, notifications).
• Twenty (CRM) — we keep a contact record and engagement history to support you.
• Job-board APIs (e.g. Reed, Jooble, Adzuna) — we send search terms, not your identity, to find roles.
• Our own server infrastructure — document storage and processing run on servers we operate.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Your data is stored in our own database and object storage. Connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we act on that request.

Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable export, or object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we’ll action it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

GetMeHired.AI is in a closed alpha; access is limited to approved users. We may update this notice as the product develops and will change the date above when we do. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
